Greetings friends,

     As some of you may know, First Baptist Church launched a new worship experience last year called Xalt.  Through the joint efforts of some very talented and gifted college students, along with young adults in the area, a new worship moment has emerged. We have created what we hope will be an effective and welcoming atmosphere for young people, and the young at heart, to experience God and his plan for our lives in a more contemporary way. Through powerful themes, drama, skits, dance, music, young adult led messages and testimony, we are hoping to connect in a more personal and real way with young adults in the area.

    The team has grown this year both in numbers, and in experience. In evaluating our needs, we have discovered that we would benefit from additional guitarist’s, and a bassist. I am hoping that within the circle of young adults you work with and know, you may recognize some gifted and experienced young people who would enjoy an opportunity to participate in this unique ministry.  Please have them contact me asap or you may contact me to discuss this further.

     There is growing excitement as we prepare to re-launch Xalt this November. I am honored to be working with such a talented and creative group of young people. I believe this ministry will be unique to the area, and I am praying that you will bless us by showing your support and encouragement.
